About SWM Builders Merchants:
In 2017, SWM moved to a new yard in the centre of Lydney Town. Starting from scratch refurbishing offices, yard and warehouse. Our new location provides a clean, easy-access environment where customers can be served safely and efficiently. Since moving, we have upgraded our facilities by incorporating loose-aggregate bays and a large turning-circle for articulated vehicles. We take extra care in organising our yard sensibly, ensuring our array of products are in easy-view for customers and general public. At SWM, our ultimate goal is to deliver quality customer service, ensuring all of our customers leave with a smile.
Trini Jones
Managing Director
Trini has been involved in the construction business for over 30 years, enjoying the challenges of Sub-contracting businesses provide. He has always had an ambition to own and develop a business in sales.
Kieran Jones
Head of Sales and Purchasing
Kieran joined the business straight from sixth-form education at Wyedean School, with hopes to follow his father’s (Trini’s) footsteps and learn the business from the ground-level up. Kieran prides himself on being very customer focussed and has built strong relationships with them as well as our suppliers over the years.
Jade Long
Accounts Manager
Jade joined the sales team at SWM back in 2015 and has gradually worked her way into accounts after completing her Level 4 AAT (accountancy) qualification. By joining the sales team first, Jade has gained strong relationships with customers and a vast amount of product knowledge.
Karl Robertson
Branch Manager
Karl joined the team at SWM at the start of 2022 and is now Branch manger. With 8 years experience in the building merchant industry, he is passionate about all things landscaping and has built this side of the business since joining. He has a wealth of product knowledge and builds excellent working relationships with his customers.
Connor Mullan
Sales and Purchasing Assistant
Connor joined the company in May 2021, after having a background in building and building maintenance. He is now working as a Sales & Purchasing Assistant, which involves serving on the trade counter and looking after the stock inside the shop.
Angela Howell
Accounts Assistant/Payroll Clerk
Ange joined the company in 2018, having worked for the sister company, T J Services, since 2006.
Out of work she enjoys running, spending time with her family and walking her Cocker Spaniel, Rose.
Dave Price
Delivery Driver
Dave is a great addition to SWM. Very experience driver and will rise to any challenge always with a smile. Dave has a passion for all things motoring and enjoys restoration of classic cars in his free time.
Ethan Dunscombe
Yard Supervisor
Ethan is our newest yard staff to our team and is fantastic to have on board. A very friendly person who goes the extra mile to help our customers. In his free time Ethan plays football for Viney Hill FC.
